I tried to do some reading with Chelsea today, and it didn't go very well. You sit down, open the books (yes there are books for babies - or at least we believe it works), and a couple minutes later she started to look elsewhere. Of course she cannot read, but there is a good wish that she might be interested in pictures and colors. However, at age one, it seems that she's more interested in throwing stuffs (she cannot really throw though. It's more like fiddling, but definitely not reading.) and occasionally attracted by different sounds. (Books for babies can make sounds. Does that make them audio books?)
One of the good things about lock down is that, I get to spend more time with the little one. That is, at the same time, a very good practice of patience, and perseverance.
